The Southwest Coastal Area Local Retiree Chapter will discuss endorsements of candidates at our July 20, 2022, Regular Retiree Meeting.\u00a0 We take that responsibility very seriously.<\/div>\n

(m) Members of the APWU Retirees Department who pay thirty-six dollars ($36.00) per annum and retired as members of the APWU-represented bargaining unit, shall be eligible to vote for the three (3) APWU General Officers: President, Executive Vice President, and Secretary-Treasurer, and three (3) resident department officers: Legislative\/Political Director, Human Relations Director, and APWU Health Plan Director, excluding all local, state, and national resident and craft\/division officers not specifically listed herein, or in any matter pertaining to National Agreement ratification, Local Memorandum of Understanding, or proposed work stoppages.<\/p>\n

Retirees ($36.00 Department Members) will have the opportunity to vote for the following officers: President, Legislative\/Political Director, Human Relations Director, and the Retiree Department Director.\u00a0 The Southern Region retirees can vote for the Southern Regional National Convention Delegate.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
The APWU Executive Vice President, Secretary-Treasurer, Health Plan Director, and Central Region, Eastern Region, Northeast Region, and Western Region Convention Delegates were all unopposed and considered elected.<\/div>\n

<\/div>\n
Ballots will be mailed in early to mid-September.\u00a0 Please encourage all members of the APWU to vote.<\/div>\n

<\/div>\n
Retirees who pay full dues will be able to vote for members as they did in the past.<\/div>\n

<\/div>\n
